The hat works as expected. I was surprised to learn it is not machine washable
I live in the Pacific Northwet (sic), and finding a hat to wear on my daily 2-mile walk during our 8-month rainy season that's truly rainproof has been an ongoing challenge. This is a very comfortable hat that I can wear in a downpour and not wind up with a wet head! The hat does get wet, but water so far does not soak through the mesh lining. It also dries very quickly. It also has a cord adjustment for a nice fit.
It's the perfect size rain hat I was looking for. Great for those times when carrying an umbrella is not practical.
Surprisingly well made and good quality materials for the low cost.
I wear this when I am walking or working outside. It is light weight and cool to wear in the hot sun!
